Hello Everyone! My name is Joanne Okolo. I come from a large family of seven, that is four siblings, two parents and myself. I am the fourth of five children and have one sister and three brothers. My favorite dish is potato salad, steak and sauteed vegetables. I have traveled to France and England and would like to visit Italy. My favorite hobbies are crochet and makeup artistry. I learned how to crochet from my Grandmother, but learned how to do makeup by myself. I am currently taking my prerequisites for Nursing at Mount San Antonio College. I completed all my science prerequisites at UCLA and Citrus College. I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Pomona Valley Hospital to gain hands-on nursing experience. I assist Registered Nurses on the surgical floor and I aspire to be a nurse and a makeup artist.
